    2nd display for m17x?

    bit of a noob question,

    how do you get a 2nd display on the m17x? ive disabled the sli but what else needs to be done?

    Plug in second display.
    Go to Control Panel - > Personalization - > Display Settings.
    Click on the second screen.
    Select "Extend the desktop to this monitor"
    You can then move the second screen to the left side or right side and resize it etc.

    i've a 2nd display without needing to disable SLI =o

    you really don't want to disable SLI for a 2nd display, since if you set it up properly, each individual GPU will be responsible for a single display. (i also have an m17x with an external display with SLI enabled)
