    3d mark vantage problems

    hi there folks, ive just downloaded a perfectly legal/ish copy of 3dmark vantage, ran it in the trial mode, then inputted my serial and it now says that my montior doesnt support the minimum resolution of 1280 by 1024, which i know it doesnt as it is the 1440 by 900 720p monitor, ive got a 40" samsung lcd tv for watching films so thought there was no point in going for the 1080p monitor, but not it seems its not supported by vantage, not a massive issue, but wondered if there were any ways around this? my 3d mark06 score seems to jump from anywhere between 10150 when i 1st got my m15x, to a week ago being 9550ish to just now 9950ish after installing the beta drivers. cant get it up over 10000 again though.

    you shouldnt worry about 3dmark scores too much. what really matters is the game performance. getting 10000 is all about chance.

    By "legal/ish" do you mean cracked? If so illegal software pirating is not allowed to be discussed on these forums :eek:

    yes i downloaded the free version, i would not talk about pirated stuff on here. what i meant was that it ran even before i put in the trial serial on a minimum run, then when i put the trial key in it wont run at all, i shouldve made that clearer. i also understand that the scores arent exactly important, butas i dont play many games on here, prefering the ease of my ps3, i just wanted to see what kinda scores my m15x would get on the latest set of benchmarks, but unfortunately cant run the program.

    you should be getting in the high 9000s. i ran 3dmark again 2 days ago and got 9995.
