So I am now in possession of two 4850 Master Cards, and with my newly found success with flashing a 3870 from a slave to a Master, I feel confident I can do the same with one of my 4850 Masters.

Can someone who has a legitimate 4850 slave, please use gpu-z and send me a copy of their bios?

    This will be greatly appreciated.

And yes, I know that the master cards are physically different from the slave cards, but contrary to what people said, the master can fit in the slave slot, as the additional tab is for extra power IF it is being used as a master. I've put my original 4850 in the slave spot, with a little trick and it worked like a champ.

If this works out well, I'll explain the process for everyone who is lucky enough to have two 4850 masters.

    Thanks!
    Jon

I've dl'd it Moo, but without confirmation that it is it, I think I might keep that in the back pocket, and wait to see if my man Mandrake has it for me.

    Thanks!
