    Now that 5870cf is officially out I'd love to upgrade. I figure it's likely not cheap to upgrade straight up, does anyone happen to have a price yet? Are these parts even available?

    :( I removed that part and will post there, problem is not many people who are looking to buy a new machine are going to look in the marketplace so low chances of catching someone interested.

    The last quote I had for two 4870's as an upgrade for my R1 was in the region of $1000-1200. I would expect 5870's to be slightly more for the first month of avability.
