    I've been trying to buy a 5850 over the phone, but Dell just doesn't get it. What's the exact part number I need to tell them? I tell them I want to buy an Ati Mobility Radeon 5850 for my M15x, and they tell me the Ati Radeon 5970 is better. :rolleyes: They then ask me where it is on the website, but I wouldn't have bothered calling them if I knew that.

    I wish the chat feature worked for Alienware systems, it's much easier than doing things over the phone with Dell.

    The first hit on google for 5850 m15x graphics card spare parts had the following as the last post on the page:

    I do not know if it is even available as a stand-alone purchase. Call Dell Spare Parts 1-800-372-3355. Ask for part number K6654 Ati Radeon Mobility HD 5850.
