    Sorry to keep reposting but this is getting passed up in the main thread. I have my build ready to order but one detail is bothering me. Will the 9cell be physically bigger then the 6? Will it stick out the back like other laptops I've seen? I've never had anything but stock battery so I dont know.

    No. The 9 cell should look identical to the 6 cell.

    If so Its an obvious upgrade whats up with laptops I see with the battery hanging out the back?

    depends on the design of the battery, the 6 cell battery is probably the 9 cell housing just with less cells placed into it.
