does anyone have any experience with this ?

Does not look like it fits in any other machine out there so my guess would be no it wont fit. the trays that hold the M17x HDs have 0 wiggle room so again im going with no .
-
yes it will
member here said it would. ( he had it ) -
didn't he have to break some plastic piece off to make it fit.
-
he put it in the secondary i believe and the little knob of plastic on the bottom ..... but yea he had to remove that
-
Well breaking stuff is not what i would consider fitting since the average person is not willing to break anything on there new expensive machine
.
-
mehhh i guess its what seperates us
-
IMO, if you need more room than a 500GB drive just get an external then. Not worth it.

And doesn't breaking something void the warranty too?
-
probably wouldn't be noticeable.
