    Does not look like it fits in any other machine out there so my guess would be no it wont fit. the trays that hold the M17x HDs have 0 wiggle room so again im going with no .

    didn't he have to break some plastic piece off to make it fit.

    he put it in the secondary i believe and the little knob of plastic on the bottom ..... but yea he had to remove that

    Well breaking stuff is not what i would consider fitting since the average person is not willing to break anything on there new expensive machine ;).

    IMO, if you need more room than a 500GB drive just get an external then. Not worth it.
