    8800 GTX Heatsink

    I recently ordered a 8800 GTX from AVA Direct to replace my 8700 GT but sadly have no way to cool it! I will pay a considerable chuck of change if you guys have one to spare or can point me in the direction of a heatsink. Any chance i can use the 8700 one?

    under no circumstances use the 8700m-gt heatsink. it's totally different. seeing how mine is probably sold, have you contacted Konig?

    the 8700 heatsink will not fit on the the 8800. i have tried and trust me it doesn't work. There is this big square piece of the left side of the gpu that is blocking the 8700 heatsink from going on the 8800 so you cannot even screw it down. You can however cut the 8700 heatsink so it does screw down but i dont think its worth the effort.
