    9750 Power Button

    If my 9750 shutdown, and press any Hotfix Key for example the "DVD" Button.. my 9750 is booting..
    How can is disable that. It should be only boot or power up, if i press the Power Button..
    Sorry my English..

    press Fn Key + F11, that will turn off all the soft keys and help you avoid that problem. Otherwise pressing a soft key will boot the computer.

    And in case you are curious, Fn Key + F10 turns off the Alien Skull blue light. :)

    Wow I didn't know either of those key combination's. I actually have to try out FN + F10 since that blue alien head can be a little unwanted at times. Rep + for you my man.

    Disable the Hotfix Button works.. but the 9750 starts anyway if i press any Hotfix Button?

    the system will boot upon pressing the touch sensitive buttons. it is annoying when i had mine, but it is normal for the system. nothing you can do about that.

    Yeah that's normal it is a feature in the Vista BIOs.

    Yep my laptop does it too. I don't think it is that big of a deal. It is actually pretty cool. If you hit the internet button to boot your computer then for me firefox will start as soon as my computer boots :).

    Hmm... nice Feature.. Ok, its a new Future.. but if i clean my Notbook and touch a Button and starts, i really dont happy.. Than, this 9750 dont need a power button...lol

    Same thing happens with my dv9700t but it doesn't happen with the m15x
