    9800m GT Crysis settings

    Dont know this card well yet...I am trying to play Crysis on it but it is really choppy...what should the settings be so I can max out the game and still be smooth?

    Currently have defaults set in the card and the game is set at medium all the way round. And it plays like crap...game screen is at 1400x1050, vsync is off and anti-aliasing quality is off.

    I know I am not pushing this card because while playing the fans are not even kicking in...

    Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in adavance for any input.

    give the CCC mod a shot. you should be able to run level 3 easily, and level 4 at 20-25fps.

    hmmm...installed CCC, but now the game won't start, the window is up but black and all I see is the mouse. ?

    Reinstalled CCC and I can hear it but the screen is still black, even at my lowest resolution.

    i don't see why it shouldn't - it changes the game's .cfg file (and some other files), which shouldn't have any connection to your GPU brand.

    it doesn't work for CW, and it makes Crysis perform better. don't know how it'll compare to CW.
