I only have the M17x models and it's not loose at all, I mean I can't move it like the guy in the video.
    What's your model?

Well, see if it's common for the M15x and if not, consider calling Dell.

I have both a dead M15x (it failed on me 1.5 montes after the warranty ran out :cry :) and my current M17x.

The AC plug is not "wiggly" on either of them. I used my M15x for 1 year and 1.5 months before it broke and I have never had this problem. My M17x is about 4.5 months old now, and I do not have this problem on that machine either.

I have a 6 week old M17x R3 and the adapter is wiggly. It has been since I got it. It doesn't charge the laptop occasionally until I wiggle it around to the right spot. I need to call it in for warranty soon.

My M15x cord wiggles, maybe not quite as much as in the video but still a lot. Never had any problems charging or anything.

If its anything like the m11x power plug then its not actually connected to the chassis, but rather it just slides into 2 slots on each side.

Take off the bottom and take a look at it while wiggling the wire.

I don't think you should worry as much since it has been functioning fine for you. Mine is also not solid but wiggly, yet it has never had a challenge to charge.
