    Hi!

Anybody from Uk (LONDON) who bought the ATI 5870 from BabyHemi? Did you pay any taxes? how much? I am trying to budget the upgrade.

And anybody willing to buy my NV GTX260m graphics card if i do upgrade to the 5870?

    Thanks.

I'm currently in the process of upgrading my just received M15X, SSD, GPU and Wifi card.

I would guess though you would have to pay around £55 tax if babyhemi is still selling them for $310

You will most likely have to pay custom tax. I sent a used CPU to my cousin in France and declared value for insurance purpose of $250.00. He had to pay VAT tax on it.

I bought 5870(babyhemi) from US to London UK... they charged me around £60 for Customs and VAT... But man its worth every penny.... ;).. And its a huge risk when u declare the item as low price... because u get items misplaced a lot ... and for international mails... its too risky...

Declaring it as something that it is not, is illegal and if your package gets lost you won't get the insurance. On top of the £60 VAT, you will also get charged a £15 handling fee or something around that amount.
