ATI Catalyst Display Driver 9.5 for Windows 7 Mobility is here: http://depositfiles.com/files/rb3kdsq3n

    1. Download and unrar it.

    2. Install the Driver by Disk method, described here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=364393
    Locate file: 9-5_win7_64_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W76A_INF\C7_80269.inf

    3. Run setup.exe and install Catalyst Control Center 9.5

Ok, call me silly but which of these links is the already MobModded version for Vista 64? The second set says "mobility" and the third set says "For the Notebook Enthusiast" with another link to the new MobMod. Are any of these repackaged, and already MobModded?

Does the Vista ones scale properly with lower resolutions than 1920x1200 ? (1680x1050 for eg) ? ;)

Had that problem a few times as well tanamerra. Did you do only one restart ? Try two restarts;p Uninstall, reboot, wait till windows fully load then reboot and then try to install the drivers.

It has something to do with Vista trying to load the default ones the first try you reboot and conflicts with the installation. After the 2nd restart it seems to work just fine with sky's 9.4.

This driver was fixed for no scaling issue and it works correct in 1920x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900 and 1280x800 in Win7 7100, 7127 x64. If you mean all different resolutions, that's right, this problem exists for Win7.

Had a lot of free time today so i gave them a shot. They installed just fine, 3d marks scores are a bit higher than 8.12's. Starting game performance tests now.

    Also scaling works ;)

I've just installed drivers on my acer 5530g with windows 7 and ati mobility radeon hd3470 hybrid x2... and there is a problem because ccc detects hd3450 which is a bit worse than my 3470 :(. Any ideas how to properly install drivers? I ve tried twice and the result was the same.

Open CW_80268.inf (for Win7 32 bit) or C7_80269.inf (for Win7 64 bit) and delete this line "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3450" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4. Then install the driver.

After uninstall driver reboot your system in Safe Mode and run Driver Sweeper http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/ or (and it will be better) install driver on clean system.

It didn't work -.-. I uninstalled ccc-> restarted_> cleaned drivers, manually uninstalled graphic drivers from device manager > restarted> installed ccc again and I still have 3450 + 3200 . Because of that i cant watch movies from blu-ray disk on my 24" screen -.-.
Is it possible that those drivers dont support 3470hybridx2 ? I didnt see that graphic card in the list in c7_80269.inf file.

Venor ID of your card is 1002 and Device ID is 95C4, right?
There is "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3470" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4 in C7_80269.inf, right? You can change this line for "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3470 hybrid x2" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4 ("ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3470" or "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3470 hybrid x2" are only names and you can write there all what you want).
After you deleted line "ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 3450" = ati2mtag_M72, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_95C4 from C7_80269.inf there is no more information about HD 3450 in driver and HD 3450 can't be installed. So, i think that the problem is wrong uninstalling. Can you install the driver on clean Windows? If no, go C:\Program Files\ATI\CIM\Bin64\setup.exe Choice Delete. Then reboot in Safe Mode. Run Driver Sweeper. Mark ATI - Display -> Analyse->Clean(several times). Reboot. Install driver.

Hey guys im new to this forum and i'm also new to ATi cards,

recently i purchased a notebook with the following specs :

    GPU : ATi HD4650 1GB DDR2
    CPU : AMD Athlon x2 64 2,10ghz
    RAM : 4GB DDR2 RAM
    HDD : SATAII
OS : Windows vista Ultimate 64-Bit

My ATi catalyst driver is kinda old, so i wanted to update it. i tried this one

    --> ATI_Catalyst_9.5_Software_Suite_Vista-Win7_64-bit_Mobility

I removed the older one, was 8,5 i think and then i rebooted my notebook, and installed the one shown above, and when it rebooted again and windows came up the resolution was massive and i couldn't find the ATi catalyst nor the driver or screen adapter :/

and when i try to install my older driver it does the same...it tells me that the installation is done and asks me to reboot, when i do so i see nothing, i cant fix the resolution nor can i see the name of my GPU lol, meaning the drivers aren't installed.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanx in advance, Peace

The downloaded drivers from ATI do not work on Vista without Mobility Modding them first.

Try the 9.6 ones from ATI instead, although the ones you tried should work (They've already been Mob-Modded) but 9.6 had some extra tweaks for the higher end cards.

Yes, sorry I wasn't real clear in my initial post. 9.6 was enhanced for the 4xxx series cards and might work better. Try downloading the desktop 9.6's from ATI, mob modding them, and installing those to see how they work for you.
