    Hey ppl,

I'm back, (the processor in my laptop was dead, alienware sent it back with a 2.2ghz processor until they can get a 3ghz one in from America).

So yea, I've been trying to install both CCC 9.9 and 9.8 and neither have worked. I tried e-wrecked's method (uninstall, driversweeper, etc), tried to manually install the inf files through device manager, update driver software (it says the VGA driver is the most compatible driver and won't update) and I've also tried to ust run the msi file in the same directory as the inf files (it says it's not compatible with my Microsoft Windows).

I have Vista 64-bit SP2. Does anyone know any other method I could try, or a link to older drivers that will work (but newer than the Alienware stock drivers).

    Thanks in advance,

    Cyro

Tried to use it, did the same things. Shouldn't need it n e way because 9.9 has the mobility cards included (trying the vista/win7 CCC).

What do you mean its not installing, are you getting an error of some kind? I've not had any problems installing 9.8 or 9.9, but I've done both the CCC and drivers at the same time after a mobmod.

If you're only installing the CCC that's true, the MobMod is for the DRIVERS themselves not the Catalyst Control Center.
