Where can I find these graphics cards? Who, on the internet, sells these? I'm having an incredibly hard time finding them.

You'll be very lucky if you can find them. They're not like standard graphics cards, sold in many shops. Laptop graphics cards are generally only sold by OEMs in the laptops themselves.

If you're lucky you might find a pair on eBay or on the marketplace here now and again, but it's not likely.

Link please. It's for my m9750. The Nvidia graphics cards are displaying artifacts and I need to replace them with the most current model of cards that can be fitted.

Are you guys 100% positive these will work with the Area-51 m9750? My parents are skeptical of this claim that they will work. Also, they're not exactly confident about buying from a foreign merchant on eBay.

DHC, I can't find your Ebay ad no matter what I search under. Link?

Also, SanguineHaze, I MIGHT be selling my 3870s for cash to buy some 4850s. I am in the US, but my cards are obviously used.

Did I do the calculations wrong, or are those 3870s 500 US dollars? Aren't brand new 4850s from AW around 500 US?

The buy out is 450 us dollars inc. shipping if you calculate it, however, you cannot compare American prices vs European ones.

For a basic AW M17X for example we pay 2,710.51 USD.

Everything is more expensive in Europe.

If you can get the 3870's or the 4850's from AW for USD then i suggest you do that, and maybe make it a business by reselling them to people in Europe ;).

Yeah, I'm in the US. I was just wondering what I should try to sell my 3870s for. Are your 4850s working fine for you DHC?

I'm thinking $400 for both with XF cable. What do you think Turbo?

Yup, no problems with my 4850's...they are great for my games. Had some heat problems, but after reapplying OCZ Freeze (think i might have forgotten that last time in all the excitement lol) and drilling a few more holes in the bottom cover they are as hot as my 3870's.

I was thinking they were worth FAR less that that even. But that sounds good.

Are you keeping those 4850s then Mandrake?

Probably. I'll more than likely sell the whole system with them in it, in a couple months or so.

That's cool. I will more than likely install those 4850s and an SSD primary. Then I'll ride this sucka til the wheels fall off!

It's rather hard to get nowadays I think Alienware stop selling them they're just keeping for warranty reason. I might be selling mine too but I only have a single card for the moment I sold the other one.
