    Hello,

    I recently upgraded to windows 7 premiem 64. I installed the correct driver for the tuner and when I plug it in, my entire computer freezes. I had this problem on Vista also. I have tried multiple drivers and the same thing happens. If i plug the device in when there are no drivers the computer does not freeze, but as soon as the drivers are installed it will freeze when the device is plugged in. Using an m17x Any help would be grealtly appreciated.

    same problem here, got really annoyed. I seldom use it...

    But the solution is to install the correct driver from aver site. And install the driver through device manager. However be warned that you must remove the aver card before restarting your computer or it will hang on windows boot. I experimented with this for days. I ended up wiping to see step by step since I was curious :p. It has to be something with the driver...

    i got tv tuner software, but no tv tuner...i thought it was inbuilt into the laptop, but now that u mentioned "plug it in", i realise its not..

    i live in Australia, im guessing that why i didnt get the tv tuner, with the package?
