I have my AW15X hooked up to a DoubleSight DS-263N 26" screen. Overall..it is great...very impressive. However there are three things right away that I need to fix (and I am techno-ignorant).

    1) When I close my lid the display seems to remain on. I am concerned about the display life and heat buildup.

    2) I get a horizontal "fuzzy" line that runs from top of the screen to bottom of screen when I am watching a movie or playing some games (such as IL-2). It reminds me of a frequency being out of phase but I don't know why or what to do about it.

    3) Text is too small even on the 26" screen in native resolution. What are the recommended settings for not going blind but being able to take advantage of the resolution?

    The computer is:

    1. How do you know its on? Plus there are options in the command center to change what your pc does when you close the lid.

    2. not so sure about that

    3. depends on what Res your screen does

ps any way you can test ur cpu for overheating and downclocking? That would help us out a lot thanks!

if text is too small right click on the desktop then go to personalize. on the left hand side under task there should be something called adject font size(dpi). change the dpi value to a higher number and your text will be scaled bigger.

for help with question 2 you should provide a print screen of your desktop or if that doesnt work use a digital camera. it would give us a clearer picture to what is going on with your screen
