As I understand it earlier this year there was a 30% off Alienware setups coupon. Unfortunately I missed out on that one as I was not looking for an upgrade.

lately I have been wanting one.

Can we expect the 30% off coupon or similar deal to make another appearance, or should I just go ahead and order at full price? What about a possible black Friday deal? I can certainly wait a bit.

The deals now are probably going to be similar to Black Friday's. I'd just order now... The coupon deals usually only happen once or twice a year.

It was alluded that the Mystery Coupons would return during the holidays. If you are not in a rush, there is a decent chance you will see 30% discounts around Black Friday/Christmas.

I used 150$ coupon code when ordering. It worked.

    Order should be above 1799$

Thanks. I certainly am not in a rush...my laptop is fine, I've just been wanting a little bit of an upgrade. I'm happy to wait for a month or three. :)

Were the deals then a flat 30% off certain configurations x dollars and above, or what?

I am always of the camp of you ALWAYS wait...the 30% actually has happened at least 2 or 3 times already this year. This is not to say things can't change, especially with Dell going private, but please note that only 1% out of 100 even got a 30% coupon so it was not given to everyone. 9% got a 20% off coupon. Calling would probably not let you get 30% neither as I tried that myself before...

I recommend you sign up for lots of dell promo emails now before them sending it out since they may or may not allow people to get the coupon immediately.

I actually have a preferred account so they send me every piece of junk email ever lol. The amount of times I've gotten 30% off accessories and stuff is ridiculous. :)

Haha, that's awesome! At least you get most pf the promotions. We recently had 25% and 30% off some outlet machines but it lasted a day or 2 only :(

Saw that...it was on a *very* limited amount of systems I think, like the M17x R3 and M18x R1 and stuff like that. I went and looked in the outlet and I'm pretty sure the script kids unloaded all the inventory because for three days no matter what time of day I checked there were *zero* Alienware computers there.

I´ve found a valid £100 coupon for Alienware UK but the code kills all "Instant Savings" at my basket...?
Who is responsible @Dell for such useless marketing and promotion failures, their apprentices?!?

20-30percent, 1-3 day deals? ...looks like constant checking of the websites are required :( you leave for a month or two and miss out on such deals.
