Aw cust service just outdid themselvs, regualar's here will remember my problem with a Harddrive that I had showing an Error (0) on raid boot.
Well i called AW as it was on my mind a bit, after a 10 minute chat the gent there simply said
"no problem Mr Collins we will send you a new one, be there by friday is that ok?"
What can i say.

Wonderful... Glad you had a good experience with them. With all the alien bashing that seems to go on in this forum it's nice to hear good reports.
Everytime I've had to deal with Alienware I have always had a good experience - be it from Roswell or regular support.

Mind if I ask what the error 0 does?
I am getting reporting error on my hard drives during the raid boot and it also says error 0 for both drives, but I have not seen any problems yet with them. -
its a problem with the smart on the drives it normally indicates a hdd on its way out, how long have u been seeing the error?

Honestly, for about a year now.
It showed error 0 for both drives on the raid boot screen, but never had a problem with it, so I didn't do anything about it.
I figured it was just a reporting error. -
i know some one with a m9750 that has had 3 errors with his raid and has had to reformat a couple of times

Hay Pmanuk You been lucky. Some people had issues from day one. For me it been 2 years of problems.
