I'm pessimistic that it will work, but this is the latest method AW is researching. I am more apt to believe Soviet's post here though as the cause.

Unless it's a motherboard specific issue, or some micro conflict/incompatability, I'd be surprised if Soviet's reason was the true reason for the stutter.
The reason for this being that all the desktop C2Qs are also designed in exactly the same way, with a dual die rather than a native 4 core die, and have been since release of the Core 2 series; given Intel also designed the chipset that the M17 uses (PM45); I'd be very surprised if this is what causes the issue, unless its a case of extremely poor implementation by the motherboard ODM (possible). Poor cooling/software conflict/power stability issues would seem more appropriate causes of blame; unless Arima(Flex)/Intel really dropped the ball.

I've ironically done this (installing the audio drivers now after a crap holiday in Barcelona...I swear, nobody ever go there on holiday, it sucks) but the keyboard BIOS and B14 were installed the other way round. I doubt this will help, but maybe it will...perhaps the audio drivers prevent audio stuttering at the very least.
