I've ordered M17 last friday, and my order status is still in phase 5. I sent E-mail to Alienware in order to get information about my order 4 times, but they never reply back. So...whatz the average delivery time of M17? Do all customers need to wait such long time?

They should give you a time estimate. It typically takes a couple weeks for manufacturing, especially if you highly customize your rig. I know it's frustrating, believe me! I've been in phase8 since last Friday! Soo....close....

Your estimated ship date its probably around the end of December right ?

In that case you dont really need to call them all the time and ask whats going on with the laptop. Just be patience and pray that they ship it earlier ;)

Yeah, the users who have "Notebook Retailer" as their title have been vetted by NotebookReview.com, so are mostly trustworthy. ;)

    But yeah, he's cool.

If I choose 17-Inch WideUXGA 1920 x 1200 LCD (1200p) with Clearview Technology, the text displayed on screen will be very small (hard to read)?

If you choose the dual 3870 option, and get the 1440x900 LCD, you're wasting a good chunk of the CrossFire potential.

I don't have numbers, but I'd say if you're getting the low-res LCD, get the single 3870. 1920x1200, get the CrossFire setup.

Multiple graphics cards are for performance at higher resolutions.
