I think I may have accidently deleted AlienTouch a few weeks ago, I was cleaning up some programs from automatic start up and I noticed the next day that AlienTouch wasn't working.
Now when I go to AlienTouch in the Command Center this comes up;
System.ArgumentException: Value does not fall within the expected range.

it has an 'ok' button at the bottom which when you press, closes the entire command center. Everything else in the command center works perfectly.
I could use a hand here![]()

Ok so I uninstalled and reinstalled synaptics touch driver and now my AlienTouch option in the command center is working again, however even though I've ticked the box that says 'Disable touch pad when external device is connected' it does not disable my touch pad. I've had to disable it through the synaptics driver but that doesn't give me the option of the touchpad being re-enabled when I disconnect my mouse. >.< Does anyone know how to fix this?

This is not entirely uncommon. Something either got corrupted with your .NET framework or a Windows Update screwed it up.
To correct it, uninstall Alien Command Center and OSD. Reinstall .NET 4 framework or run a repair. I recommend using the .NET cleanup tool to totally remove it versus attempting the repair. Choose the option to totally remove all versions of .NET framework. Download and reinstall a fresh .NET 4 from Microsoft. Then reinstall Alien Command Center and OSD. Download the latest versions for your system from Dell Support.

You need to manually delete the file named Profile.xml as well as created themes to completely remove the Command Center and all its settings.
