    Hey everyone

I recently got an Alienware m15x, am very pleased with it. Is soooo shiny.... anyway, I ordered some new RAM and fitted it myself as they try and rinse you on the their web site for it, £200 for 4gb! So brought a 4gb OCZ kit for £50 Simmilar IC as far as i can tell. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/132901 . Have gone up slightly in price. Any way my question is: The original mem is 667mhz, the ocz is 800 mhz running at 667 but with the spd timings for 800mhz. Is there any way to change the clocks in windows, Im running Vista premium 32 bit? Or Cpuz says that the ram is on a 3:5 divider, so in theroy is able to run at 400mhz on a 1:1. So is there any way to change the divider? Is really annoying that they give you so little option is the bios, being marketed for enthausasts and gamers I would have thought they would expect you to know a little about what your are doing and not break you laptop.

    Cheers
    Gaddadam

Hmmm... I know that the m15x doesn't support 800MHz RAM... aside from that I can't help you. Anyone else?
