    Hi guys

    I am after some advice on a laptop i have seen on ebay for sale.

    I use CAD software a lot i.e solidworks, catie and inventor along with the usual surfing the net and play games too.

    Alienware Aurora m9700 17-inch Gaming Notebook on eBay (end time 04-Jun-10 16:03:34 BST)

    above link is the laptop. Will this be capable for what I need and is there any bad things about these laptops? are the graphics cards upgradeable?

    I suggest you to buy Alienware M15x, You can also purchase the base model.

    Even base model will do the job for you and the bottom line is you can upgrade cpu,gpu anytime you want.

    Its not incredibly upgradeable to be honest with you...I'd also recommend a bare m15x and than upgrade to your liking from there.

    I'm pretty sure the M11x would even be more powerful than that m9700.
