So the Alien LED Logo that's supposed to glow blue (on the opposite side of the screen) isn't glowing. Is this something that I could have possibly turned off by accident? Or, is something wrong here?

    Thanks

To turn on/off the glowing Alienware head use FN+F10.

If you have the M17, fn+f10 cycles through the colors and when cycled for no colors, the head is off.

If you have the M9750 it's also fn+ one of the fn keys to turn the head on or off. I think it's also f10.

Then most likely your LED in the alien head either has a loose connection or is out.

Probably a broken LED or poor connection or something.

Are there any instruction guides on how to open up the Alienhead and replace the LED?

see, i thought you could not turn it off...hmmmm
i am going to un-stand corrected until it is confirmed about this.
i was thinking loose connection/somthing faulted as well.

Sorry man, you can turn it off. It's after the blue keyboard when the keys turn off so does the blue in the head.

He obviously still has issues though cause it won't turn on for him.
