    Hi all,

I am having an issue where my Alien Autopsy checks for updates and finds one (from v3.4.6422.14 to v3.5.6426.22)

When I click update it downloads successfully but when it tries to apply the update I get an error message - "the installation was unable to complete successfully and all system changes have been rolled back. To try and install again, visit http://www.dell.com/dellsupportcenter"

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Sometimes an older version of software cannot do an "upgrade in place" and you have to remove the old one first. If that is the case here, it would be helpful if you received an error message with instructions to do that. So, I would try doing it that way.

Download it, then temporarily set aside the downloaded file... uninstall AlienAutopsy and reboot, then install the newer version that you downloaded.

Glad to see that it worked out this way, I'll pass the feedback to the team in charge for them to review.
