Hi, I've been looking everywhere to a solution to this but I couldn't find one.

My alienFX lights will not turn off. I've tried everything. I've reinstalled Windows 10, reinstalled the alienware command center online and through the resource CD.
Nothing will allow me to turn off the lights on my system. I can't do it through "go dark," through fn+f11, nothing. I have no idea what to do. I've had this problem
for months now. I am using a 64 bit Alienware 17 running on Windows 10 home. Any help would be appreciated.

I am having a similar problem with the new AW17R3 I just received a few days ago. I shut mine off using "go dark" and they do turn off.. But they also turn back on by themselves within 15 minutes... I have to keep using the "go dark" a few times, and eventually they stay off, but I never know for how long. Something is definitely not right with it, but I haven't bother looking into it deeper as I am expecting another brand new replacement since this one is having some other issues as well. Hopefully this alienFX issue gets resolved soon. My 17R2 doesn't share these problems, neither does my AW18.. Just the 17R3. Weird.

Did you check the config for an event setting stored? Application control?
