    I just downloaded the Alienware Alien GUIse skin app and so far (since I am using vista I can only use the invader skin) it seems pretty nice. Anyone else have any comments about their favorite skins or ways to tweak the skins??

    im using it on vista SP1 atm (cant update to sp2 atm due to some hardware conflicts).. :( ... ive found its actually made vista faster for me.. afue advantages ive found

    1. While using 3dsmax and cad (which normally turn off Aero and make the scrn flicker) no longer does this and actually starts up faster due to this.
    2. Alt tabbing from games seems smoother

    disadvantages

    1. MSN when alt tabbing from games some times goes abit wonky and gets a classic windows box put around chat windows..


    i quite like it just wish i had a notebook to match it now :)

    Well ya, it IS better on XP only because it has more skins... on Vista it only has the Invader skin. :)
