    Alien Head touch button not responding!!!

    Posted in the m15x Members thread, but I feel this issue needs its own thred.

    OK; now I have a major issue.

    m15x is pluged in, the alien head is lit, but when I press it, nothing happens. I can´t the the computer to come on. Can anyong help me here? This is going to be a major prblem. I press hard, I press soft. I can´t get it to do anything.

    This SUCKS!
    Please help!!!

    Try unplugging it. Remove the battery. Wait some time and then try again.

    Take the battery out for 10 seconds and hold down the power button and see if that works. I doubt it will though as the power button on the M15x is much different than the one on the M9750. I was thinking that you may need to reset the mobo or something. No idea, just guessing.

    Haha sab and I both responded at exactly the same time :). It sounds like it was pretty damn clutch that Sab got your laptop working again

    If you haven't upgraded to the new BIOS (X32) I would recommend you do to avoid this problem. With earlier BIOS versions I had this problem a couple times (it seemingly has to do with confusing the BIOS with certain situations) but now I haven't had it yet.
