Alien M15x shipped 8 days after ordering!!

I am really impressed with the prompt service from Dell-Alienware. I ordered my M15x laptop last Monday with a Alien Laptop Messenger Bag along with it. I received the Messenger Bag on December 4th and have been waiting for the M15x to be built. Today I got notice that it had been shipped and is in Transit in the U.S. I live in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Canada and the delivery date when I ordered was December 21st. I am sure I will receive it before then!!! Boy this really made my day!!! Full marks to Dell and Alienware on their service!! Now cross my fingers that the M15x has no problems when I receive it. I am replacing my Dell XPS laptop that has been great and still perform fairly quickly with no problems. I am going to use it for work and keep it in the Company Work Truck. Can't wait for that M15x!!!

8 days that is nice I hope mine gets built that fast. If 8 days was your build time then mine should be in shipping Friday. Fingers crossed.

Since dell took over the build time and shipped time has been very fast...i'm sure the AW's aren't hand built anymore and 120-200 point inspection anymore....which in terms price went down. you also get more performance for price spent. I remembered my first M9750 took me 3 weeks and they were out of SLI 7950GTX...so I had to get single card...still cost me over $2500.00...Now my younger brother adopt my M9750 still runs...good and can still play games...!!!

 

I received my M15x on December 14/2009. Two weeks after ordering! Everything seems perfect on it and my kids just can't stop talking about it! They are really impressed and have plans to purchase their own someday. I cannot say enough about the looks and features of this laptop! I definitely picked the right brand to get!! In only two log ins the facial recognition software is logging me in automatically without me having to put in my password. WOW!!

 

Hope my M17x takes this fast...Grats though! Hows the gaming?

a few months ago I was going to get the m15 with the skullcap, I was in love with the design, but I waited too long >_< oh well.

 

Haven't tried out any gaming yet. I have been too busy at work and have only played around with the settings and made sure everything was fully updated. My co-workers have been totally impressed with my description of the features offered by these laptops! You will love yours when you get it which is hopefully soon!! Very Soon!!! I cannot say enough about the looks and finish of the one I received! Very Happy!

 

I ordered mine on the 5th of Dec and got mine on the 15th. Then again I do live near production
