I Did A Complete Clean Installation Of Windows 7 From The Disc Provided With The System. I Do The Recovery Partition Untouched. I Installed Alien Respawn After The Fresh Installation But Error Occurs.. Like Alien Respawn Does Not Detect The Recovery Drive, Neither I Am Able To Create Any Backup...
Any Help.. I Tried Installing Ar Few Times. Same Problem. Even I Installed Windows 7 Twice.

Hi Vicky - you may find some useful information in the http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...k-drive-aftermarket-drive-alienrespawn-q.html thread.

Also, check out this thread (maybe before the one above) http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware/537394-where-get-alienrespawn-dell-datasafe-software.html.

By doing a Windows reinstall you lost the Respawn utility. If the partition is still intact, the Respawn (DataSafe) software download may install for you.

Alien Respawn is very persnickety and it's possible you may not be able to get it reinstalled. I hope it works out well for you. I not, please post in one of the above threads... whichever seems the most fitting for your question or request for assistance.

Also, welcome to NBR Forum. We are glad to have you in the Alienware Community.

I customarily share helpful links when greeting newer members. Please take a few minutes to click through them. I hope that you and other readers find the links useful in jump-starting participation in the Community. Again, welcome to NBR.
