Hey guys firstly, I am new here, just registered to post my new creation.

Recently i found this awesome thing called " LightFX Extender" on github, it basically makes AlienFX work on logitech and lightpack devices.

With this i can keep my alienware laptop and mouse in sync.

Anyway after seeing this i wanted to do something for the alienware community as-well so have created "AlienFX DB".

Basically AlienFX is a database of applications and games which support AlienFX and the 3rd Party LightFX Extender.

It is going to be community driven so need you guys to add games and applications that are missing.

    Current Features

    - List all in one page

    - Search by name

    - Steam login to add new entries

    - Admins can manage existing entries

    - Comments and Details page for each entry

    - Fluid design

    - Live Chat

    - Youtube video option

    Hi! Welcome to our Community.

There are some old threads ( example) covering this topic, but they contain dated information and haven't had any active discussion for a good while. A new thread with updated information certainly can't hurt. Feel free to grab some game titles from the old lists and update this thread.

Hi Mr Fox, I have already looked through a few previous threads and added all the information to the DB, According to Dell there are over 100 applications supported so there must be more but i don't know what they are.

Thanks, adding a youtube video field to the applications page which allows a user to enter a youtube video id to show a video demo of the lightfx.

    EDIT: Added

Also changed it to have lightfx extender version and arch all in 1 field

Also i should probably mention that lightfx extender is a 3rd party tool made by someone i'm in communication with which allows you to use AlienFX on non alienware hardware and it even works on alienware hardware with other hardware.

I use it for my logitech g600 and alienware 15 and it keeps all the light effects in sync during game play.

EDIT 2 : I added a livechat section for discussion of AlienFX and AlienFX DB

If the mouse is RGB and uses standard logitech SDK then LightFX Extender should work with it, i didn't make LightFX Extender i just made the AlienFX DB and helped test LightFX Extender on actual alienware hardware.
