    Hey you guys!

This has been a bit of a problem, the alienFX lights on my m15x "generally" dont turn on if I start the system straight off the battery. Usually then a bubble pops up in windows saying that there 'was an error communicating with the alienFX, bla bla'

    Common problem? Any easy fixes?

btw... Its running Windows 7... I believe I am using fairly up to date command center drivers (grabbed them a month or so ago), but people are saying that the 'new new' driver doesnt support windows 7? Im afraid of trying it now.

Your input is appreciated... oh and, if anyone has an extra smart bay battery, I will purchase it ;)

From some of the threads here, it seems that all the Command centre softwares don't work properly with Windows 7. That is most likel your problem. Do the lights come on when the m15x plugged in ? If they do, have you thried changing colours to see if it works and isnt just stuck in the colour you had selected when you first installed Win 7 ? Also, fiddle around with the the settings in Fusion, there are options for the lights in the 3 power modes as well as plugged in and battery.

    BTW : cute bunny !!

Sometimes Command Center doesn't install properly on Windows 7. It has a tendency to break the registry, ultimately resulting in a restore. Is there a chance that you accidently have two different versions of Command Center installed? It's very easy to do, especially since it doesn't prompt for a removal of the previous version. I would check to see that you only have one version of Command Center installed, and then go for a restore.

    Thanks,
    Gabe
