I am having some trouble. I installed Alienrespawn on my 840 pro. It created a recovery partition, which i don't need. It also destroyed my over provision and going through Magician; it says that there isn't any space to op it. This is the first time I done this before, so I don't want to proceed without some guidance. I was just going to use it to create a factory backup on a usb.

So I don't if should try to find away round it, or just trash respawn.

Also, what is the difference between a Rescue disk and a Factory Backup.

You can try using the Windows tool to create recovery discs if that's the only thing you need.

I am going to see what happens if I delete the recovery partition through disk management.

Update: Well, I deleted it and now I can OP the drive, but Respawn is worthless without the recovery partition that it created, so...

Maybe I will just use acronis and create a bootable image or something, I mean i generally keep my windows 7 disk on hand. I just want something on hand that I can use just in case something happens and I can get running as soon as possible.

Well, that is what I more or less did. I just found it odd that Magician stated that there wasn't enough space when the recovery partition was present. I'm still pretty new to the SSD scene, so I am not sure how it handles multiple partitions.

I guess I could reinstall it and create my recovery media, then delete it again.
