Last time I ran into this error (March '08) it was because I had installed MS Office '07 on my system. My discovery?? It was MS Office 2007. Seems that they use Virtual Basic 2003, and the Command Center used VB 2005. When Office '03 is installed it corrupts the Command Center's use of some command line rendering it's ability to bring up the browser to add a program to the list for AlienFX.

I had notified AW Support, but they never contacted me again...

Just recently I was playing with the FX editor and once again I am getting the error when adding a application to the FX triggers. I have not installed office, so I don't know what is triggering it...

I havent had much time to investigate further... Perhaps it is OpenOffice which could be using some similar coding to MS Office?? (I'm using Oo-3)
