So Alien Sense quit working for you too??? I'm assuming you have the new M17X. I was using my M17X one day, and all of a sudden the webcam stopped working. This seems to be an issue with either the factory image, or perhaps there's an update that breaks it..

    Steps for attempted fix:
    1. Makes sure it isn't accidently dissabled (FN+...can't remembe the key)
    2. Download the webcam driver.
    3. Attempt to install the webcam driver. (This will probably fail with an error)
    4. Enable stealth mode and restart the system. (Webcam might come up)

If all else fails, remove fastaccess from the device manager and re-attempt the steps above. The webcam will most likely come up at some point. I wish I had a sure fire fix, but it looks like there is a brief conflict in software for some reason.

If it just command center you're looking to reinstall, make sure and remove it before you try. If you install one over the top of another, it breaks registry values, and you're looking at restoring at that point. Also .Net Framework 3.5 is required for command center to work.
