    Hey everyone,
I'm doing a project in my marketing class. I have to write a case study on a company (I chose Alienware) and I have to decide what is some of their main problems such as customer service, computer quality, or anything else that anyone can think of. I don't want anyone to reccommend a computer to me, I just need suggestions from experienced people who know of Alienware.

Thanks everyone who partakes in this thread.

By the way I'm not going to share any of my opinions because I don't want any infractions for being a troll or whatnot. Lets just say that I haven't been happy with them since I got my first M5550 (I believe in august of '06).

Edit: I can get more detailed if you want and other users can too. (For example it seems like their 200 point inspection is skipped on some peoples notebooks).

Keep in mind that Alienware is a bit different than regular computer company when you do your project.

AW's customers are more technical people, most of them fell comfortable opening the laptop by themselves. So AW's customer service has higher % of CSRs that have knowledge about computers than other generic companies. Other generic companies have very very high % of CSRs are hired to read scripts and tell customers to check power plugs.

This is only 1 difference, there are tons of others.
