    Dears,
I have it in the cart and I am being to purchase it as the display is awesome. With the discount I got a price (taxes included) of 2330 dollars with Amplifier but... someone of us already purchased it?
I read a bunch of reviews but I don't for the CPU and... the GPU.

    What's your opinion?

    Cheers,

I'd say wait until the oled come to large model 15/17. Something that beautiful can't be enjoyed on a 13 :|

I'd install my own SSD, the Dell doesn't have very good deals on their storage options.

I would as well but AW being AW they are shady with the configuration / pricing, All told the premium on the OLED is $300 ~ $400 USD depending on configuration.

I would not mind the price tag being at the 2000$ level IF I was certain that the laptop would work as it should plus the OLED display would be top notch quality. That means I don't want to see any burn in, light leakage and uneven colors. Since I am not 100% sure for any of the above, no I would not pay the price they are asking, taking into account all the threads I read here about problematic alienware's (general overheating, burned mobo's, bad display units etc) and refurbished replacements. I am not tolerant to any of these because simply the price they are asking is for premium devices and sorry if the device is not actually premium I will not pay that money. Lower it and yes I will accept some minor inconveniences but don't sell me something for 2000$ knowing very well it will have burn in etc.

    * The reviews from sites do not count for me since reviewers usually get units that are flawless and not what consumers get. I would wait for other consumers to actually buy the 13 OLED version and post back after using it for some months before purchasing one.

Better check if it isn't soldered to the motherboard.

@__some moderator of the forum: I think this thread belongs to the 13/15/17 sub-forum.
    Now then.
Everything but the CPU and GPU, basically (you can upgrade them, but it would have to be through a motherboard change, and you already maxed out the CPU and GPU, so don't bother with it). SSDs (M.2 form factor), RAM, Wifi card, and screen (to an extent).

From what I understand, you're essentially pre-ordering the laptop. The delivery date may not be final, so be cautious of that.
Also, get the Intel WIfi card. It's $25, sure, but it's better than the Killer Wifi card.

Yes, I agree... the price is higher as I added all the top plus warranty, coverage and bag.

Anyway it is confirmed: 43 days for delivery, I cannot wait so much :(

It would be fantastic OLED with Infinity Edge Display.

I think it's a little premature technology and AW's care list to take care of the screen seems to be a PITA. I'm thankful for early beta testers to buy these.

Yes, I guess the same... Also Lenovo showed a Yoga powered by OLED but it is still not available.
