I tried to create an account using the account number given and the website deemed it invalid? What should I do?

Is there any other way of contacting alienware apart from calling them?

I see, not sure then, try calling Alienware I believe you get access to the forums when you receive your laptop (I have access through my 5 year old ALX account) however I must say, you will most definitely be disappointed with the content of those forums, Notebookreview's forums are about 100000 times more helpful... on Alienware Forums all you see is unhappy people posting with no one answering :)

I was told by the Dell sales rep that because I was going to buy the m17x through Dell and not the Alienware side, I wouldnt get an Alienware account number. I actually made a thread about this very subject last week. I thought I was going to be missing out on some special "perks" from the "my hive" I was wrong.

The M17x is sold thru Dell so you won't get an AW acct number...

The Alienware forums are very useful and so are there knowledge base and about your new M17x its through dell. you should have a dell service tag underneath the notebook.

The M17x is designed by Alienware engineers and build by dell.
