    Hi guys, does anyone know how to take the LCD casing apart?
    I notised a crack and im going to take it to a friend for repair

    Afaik there is no tutorial on this, but it ain't hard: unscrew the 6 screws under the pads, remove the black part by gently pulling it towards you/middle of the screen (begin in the webcam area), the rest ist more or less self-explanatory.

    If you have to take the backcover of the screen off you should be careful with the WLAN antennas. They are connected to your WLAN card, on the motherboard with 3 wires.

    Good luck with it - if your friend fixes it for good, would you let us know how he did
