If you search for Alienware Driver Installation Order or Dell Driver installation order on Google, you may get mixed results or vague answers like: Install Chipset, Video, LAN, etc.

That is very vague though so here is the proper driver installation order detailed in order so now you know what Chipset drivers go first, and so forth. I got this from the Dell Technical Manager:

PS: Don't forget to reboot after every driver installation otherwise the next driver may not install properly if there were any system pending changes/files

PS 2: when you download any file from the internet, Windows puts a BLOCKED status on it by default unless you downloaded it using a download manager (ie. Internet download Manager) so make sure you read this thread to stop Windows from automatically blocking files that you download:
"Are you sure you want to run this file?" [Yes or No]
Installing any app/driver with a blocked status may result in incomplete or erroneous installs.

Great post @Spartan what about potentially using this as a place to grab the latest drivers too?

    No, for 2 reasons:

    1) lack of appreciation

    2) The drivers are not generic like it is the case with MSI as you've seen in my MSI Drivers thread so on ie better off grabbing the drivers as per his laptop's service tag
