I'm assuming this is a great price. I'm wary though, he use to live in Rhode Island now he's in the UK where a lot of scams come from...

    Its 4 months old
    AMD Turion 64 ML-44 2.4GHz
    2GB ram
    512mb GPU
    160GB HD
    XP home
    etc.

Does this model normally come with Vista?

That's not bad. You should go for it. But you can buy one from AW ebay, plus the warranty, which I think you should have it will be a lot safer. But, if you are good at laptops then go for it.

What GPU? This sounds like a scam... an m9700 for $500, and he just "happened" to move to the UK, where all of the others scammers just "happened" to move...?

You'll see the recertified only comes with the 1.8 Turion, not the 2.4 They stopped selling new ones last year, I got one of the last ones last September. Mine came with XP MCE, but Vista was an option. It's a great price, all the more reason I would be extremely leery. Never send money out of the country unless you intend it as a gift.

Yea I felt the same way about sending money to the UK. It caught my attention because it was in Rhode Island, but once he said UK the flag when up.
    Thanks for the input.
