First off, welcome back. Hope all is well with you and we're glad to have you back in the community. :)

It's not clear what you are attempting to open a discussion about. If you are soliciting feedback from the community because you are trying to make a purchasing decision, regardless of brand, please use this forum:

If you are interested in a particular Alienware model, please browse the sub-forum for the model(s) you are interested in. You will find the Alienware sub-forums listed at the top of this page:

Discussion should start with a post that clearly identifies the topic you wish to discuss. There are multiple models of "the Alienware Laptop" and you need to be more specific about which model(s) you are comparing or considering purchasing. Each model serves a different purpose and meets different needs based on their size, configuration, performance potential and price. In most cases it's like comparing apples to oranges and it boils down to what an individual wants, needs and can afford to spend on a laptop.

If you are wanting to participate in discussion about CrossFire issues, the only laptop Alienware currently sells with dual GPU is the M18x. There are several active threads that cover M18x CrossFire and numerous threads for discussing specific AMD driver releases. As an example, here are a couple of threads specific to CrossFire that you would be more than welcome to join in the discussion:

For NVIDIA SLI, there is this thread:

Please read this information before creating a new thread. If there is an active thread on the same subject, please participate in the existing discussion. (If a new thread is opened that is redundant, as a matter of housekeeping, a moderator will close and redirect discussion to the existing thread.)

Looking forward to seeing you on the forum, friend. Again, welcome back.

If you have questions, please feel free to send me a PM.
