I just watched this video interview of the senior merchandiser of Dell/Alienware gaming talking about both the M17x and Windows 7 OS. A minute into the video, he hints at touchscreen capabilities in the future...check the link for the interview.

I personally would love touchscreen, I'm a techy like that.. but I'm not exactly sure how that would draw in more gamers to purchase Alienware, as it has almost no impact in games, so far.

you already pay an arm and a leg being in Brazil, I'm sure they would charge you a fortune just for the touch screen option haha.

An arm, a leg and 2 kidney :D

But I'm gonna buy it from eua using an "illegal" (not really illegal... :D ) way to bring it to Brazil so... I don't care much about price in Brazil :D .

But as they charge $2k for gtx280m sli here a touch screen would be something like $1k lol.

I love new tech if I find it useful. I'm not sure how having a touch screen would be useful to me.

would be interesting but im not to sure on it because AW is a gaming brand and a touchscreen is rather useless for the gaming ( which is what it was designed for..)
