    Alienware M15x Does not play Dual Layer DVDs

    I just noticed that my M15x cannot play Dual Layer DVDs. I put in a DVD I purchased and only the special feautures side works, when I flip it to the main movie side it just keeps on trying to load it. It makes the same sound over and over, disk is flawless. Im wondering any idea if this thing can play Dual Layer DVDs?

    i think he means double sided DVDs...

    or he's too stupid to realise that both layers of a double layer DVD are actually on the same side... instead, he's flipping the DVD over and putting it in the drive, and yes, the optical drive indeed couldn't read the print on the front of the disc ;)

    i meant double sided dvd , i tried a different one and it worked so i guess its the dvds fault.
