About display drivers. At the moment I m running on 177.98 what adviced me Ennea earlier. Do you have any idea why that stelth mode icon and the second one is not working?

 

Thank you. At the moment it looks fine, all around 50C but it will crash just when I m in game so i will try it later when i will try play.

 

1) yes, we know the 8600m is in your system. what you probably don't know is that you've also got a second graphics processor in your laptop, an IGP from Intel. you can switch between these two to choose between battery life and performance. as of now, i think it's safe to suppose you're running the 8600m, seeing how that's how the system's delivered, and you don't seem to know how to switch between the two

3) use the search function to find a thread regarding the X32 BIOS, including a download link.

4) yes, you can upgrade the GPU later on.

 

what do you mean by "not working"? how do you know they're "not working"? are the lights "not working"? or the actual components? please be more specific, it's hard to help otherwise.

 

Oh thank you i was wondering what is this second graphic driver for. I m runing on high performance battery setting at the moment.

When i press Bluetooth button it will show me icon of bluetooth on my screen. All the icons have strange graphic like if it was runing in low resolutin or without drivers. But just this one button is turning on and off. Other bottons are not doing anything. Wireless is still turned on and the other two are still tuned off. If i will press them nothing realy happen.

 

I m running plugged. Not on battery.

 

how are you pressing them? you have to press for a second or two. also, UPDATE TO THE X32 BIOS, AS WELL AS THE V41 TC BIOS!!!!!!!

are you using an original disc for loading your game or are you mounting it on something like daemon tools.

Its Warhammer Online, you don't have to use discs. You just need it for instalation.

 

if your playing on line you could be dropping your internet connection for a few seconds and that could be freezing the game.

 

Do you know if there is any other source for bios update than that alienware hive? Because it dont want to take my account number and dont want to let me sign in because its US server and not the UK one where did i order from

 

When did you get your m15x? I got mine in July and it came with the X32 BIOS.

 

Why do they want to fill there account number for new registration? What does it mean?

that's the wrong BIOS you've got there. it should be either X29 (or was it X27?), X32, or X34.

 

Hmmm that is really weird..why it keep crashing than?

And why i got 3500 in 3dmark06?

Must be something with graphic drivers but i already reinstalled it like 5 times to try different drivers and nothing. DirecX is telling me that i got new version so there shouldn't be problem too.

 

Download CPU-Z, run it, look under the Mainboard tab > BIOS > Version and tell us what you see.

Also, how do you know those scores aren't normal for 3500? I have a friend that has an HP with similar scores.

 

I just checked bios and it is version vX34 P3A35.

Than i loged back and tryed to instal that nvidia drivers which are on AW cd and when they was almost installed it turned the light on that planet icon or what is it on, and in the same moment computer freezed screen was filled with many symbols and computer crashed again...

 

I think I m going to let alien restore set system back to factory default and will hope that was some kind of my mistake all of this mess. If it will not help than i don't know, probably will go and shoot myself..

 

What temperature is that Graphic card suppose to have? It is almost at 60C and its not going anything.

 

when it gets to 65c is when you need to worry.
60c is a little high for the card you are using though.
ive got the 9800GT and my computer has been on all day and im at 51c

 

Well i just restored factory default for whole computer so its like in day when its arrived. I will make new topic when i will tells you every stem i made from begining so maybe i can figure out with your help where is the mistake.
