    I just Installed FSX with Service Pack 2 and at Ultra High I get around 10FPS at 1900*1200 AA on Asio why so low is it CPU hog the game instead of GPU?

    Well, I took the plunge and ordered the M17 with the default setup except added the Crossfire. It has me at Stage 1 now.

    I read the prior posts and hopefully not be affected by it. To hold me over I still have my HP DV9207us. I am waiting for Alienware to show up first then send the HP back for a Service Enhancement as they put it on the Left Hinge which has caused the casing holding the screen to start spliting.

    Then upon the HP's return I will put it up for sale. Just wanted to make sure I have my replacement first.

    Like others I too am waiting for my m17
    but i prefer to wait & get a good Laptop
    than rush them & they mess up on my Laptop :)

    Hope that i never need there customer service
    & my Laptop runs smoothly :cool:
    thats what im really worried about :D

    The AW rep actually told me my estimated shipping date when I called, but emailing is a good option too. It just might take them 24hrs to get back to you with an answer.

    Hey all, since ive been browsing these forums for a long time now i said i might as well register too :p

    My order is currently in phase 5, hopefully should take 7-10 days before they ship it if everything goes well :)

    Only thing that worries me at the moment is the temps and how well the ATI cards perform since this is my first laptop/computer with ATI cards in it.

    I bet some of the reviews here should tell you more about the temps of the M17. Scotty has recently made an excellent review on the M17 and it includes some temperature readings off of it. They're not too shabby! You can check it out here.

    Invest in an NZXT Cryo LX. Best cooler on the market according to many sources and it's big enough for laptops up to 19". Ignore the price though.
