    Hello folks,

    This is my system:

    Alienware M17 Laptop.

    Video/Graphics Card: 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3870
    Processor: Intel® Core™2 Extreme Quad QX9300 2.53GHz (12MB Cache, 1066MHz FSB)
    Memory: 8GB« Dual Channel DDR3 SO-DIMM at 1066MHz – 2 x 4096MB

    Bios is B14

I just got an Intel X25-E SSD, but the Alienware Laptop wont recognize it at the BIOS level, yet the drive is plenty fine in other systems.
The M17 has two HD slots, I tried both, no luck, also got an OCZ SSD and that one works fine. Completely lost.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    J

There's a forum member named Mandrake that knows a lot about SSDs. I'm sure he'll see this and help you momentarily.
