    Hi all!

I got my brand new Alienware M17x a few days ago and I've noticed a strange problem with it -- you can have only 2 out of the following keygroups recognized at the same time: (E,D,C), space, control.

In other words, if you hold control+space, E/D/C won't be recognized. If you're holding control+D, spacebar won't be recognized, and so on. This is extremely problematic as I play games that require in particular control+space+d quite often. Could someone else verify for me that this is the case?

I downloaded and used PassMark Keyboard Test (google it, it's shareware & works long enough for you to find out) to test it. I found a post on here from about a year ago where someone else had the same problem with an older m17x; I'd really appreciate some verification from someone.

    Thanks,

    Tom

    Revised:

The groups now appear to be (CTRL,LSHIFT,LALT), (E,D,C), Space.
