    Alienware M17x Microphone no longer working.

    Hi all, my Microphone (built in) just stopped working in Modern Warfare 2.
    It was working just fine a day ago.
    Yesterday I went ahead and updated my drivers with the latest drivers from support.dell.com
    Not sure what to do now.
    I also boosted my mic to 20+dB.

    Right click on the speaker icon in the taskbar, click on Recording device and try to set difference device as default to see if any of them work.

    I tried few things, didn't work.
    I went ahead and switched to the old drivers and things working again.
    Weird.
    Anyways the sound stuttering is getting worse by the days, the YouTube videos are impossible to watch due to the sound stuttering, I saw the post by dell mid december, hope to see some updates this January.
